Try out existing solutions
- Try our Solutions and Tools - and give us feedback on what we're doing right and what we can do better.
Volunteer your expertise
There are many ways to get involved, even if you aren't a technical expert. Try one or more of these options:
- Try, test, and support new projects - Browse through our Software Development Projects and Deployment/Maintenance Projects. If any interest you, contact them for information on how to get involved. They are often looking for users to
- Try new products and report bugs - Try out upcoming projects and work with the developers to fix problems.
- Provide peer support - Help others through a project's mailing list or RtF peer support forum.
- Write documentation - When you try out the projects, edit our instructions so that everyone can understand how to use them.
- See if there is an open opportunity posted on the People Needed page that matches your interests and skills.
- Join one of the Needs and Features Discussion Groups based around your disability experiences and help identify new solution strategies.
- Support RtF in your community. Let your friends, family, and co-workers know about RtF's solutions. For more ideas on how to get people involved, or to join the awareness effort, get in touch with the Awareness Strategy and Planning Group.
- Ask us for ideas. If you can't figure out where your work fits best, contact Contribution.net and include [Volunteer] in the subject line. Then tell us about your skills, background, or just what makes you interested in helping. We can match you to things that need your help and would be of interest.
